How to empower your congregation for ministry
by Erik Rees

Imagine you, as a pastor, had the freedom to do the specific ministry God has shaped you to do. Imagine how that could change your life – and your ministry. In this article, Saddleback Ministry Pastor Erik Rees tells you how to make that dream a reality by unlocking your unique God-given shape and helping those around you do the same. [more]

S.H.A.P.E.
Erik Rees (Zondervan, 2006)

God has a special and unique purpose for each one of us. The key to unlocking that purpose, according to Saddleback Ministry Pastor Erik Rees, is your unique shape. In his new book, entitled S.H.A.P.E., Rees helps readers use their shape to unlock their God-given potential, uncover their specific Kingdom purpose, and unfold a Kingdom plan for their lives. If you've explored God's five universal purposes in Rick Warren's best seller, The Purpose Driven Life, this new book is a great next step.

"Let us not give up the habit of meeting together ... instead let us encourage one another." - Heb. 10:25 (GN)

Rockbridge Seminary - Get trained for ministry right where you are with this fully online and purpose driven seminary. The Invitation (narrated by Pastor Rick) - This Web site is the companion to a new CD released by Nelson Bibles and Maranatha Music. On it, Pastor Rick leads people through an explanation of salvation and an invitation to accept Christ. In between Pastor Rick's messages are songs from musicians like Amy Grant and Casting Crowns. You can find the whole contents of the CD on this site along with great resources that can help a person after they've made the decision to follow Jesus.
Great books online – and they’re free! - This site offers everything from reference books to Agatha Christie to the Lincoln-Douglas debates. You can't download them, but they are available online to read.
Twenty-part series on Rick Warren in the Orange County Register - Gwendolyn Driscoll of the Orange County Register spent a year interviewing Pastor Rick, Saddleback staff, and church members on the church and its new global mission, the P.E.A.C.E. Plan. Here's the first of a 20-part series in the newspaper on Pastor Rick, Saddleback, and the P.E.A.C.E. Plan.
