Helping someone in today's postmodern, pluralistic world come to faith in Jesus is a step-by-step process, according to author Chad Meister. Africa Bible Commentary
Ed. Tokunboh Adeyemo (Zondervan, 2006)

This book can help you introduce your congregation to a global perspective on God's Word. The Africa Bible Commentary is the first-ever one-volume Bible commentary produced in Africa, by African theologians. In this commentary, you're sure to find fresh insight on the Bible you won't typically find outside of Africa. According to Pastor Rick, “This monumental work of biblical scholarship is filled with helpful insights into God's Word that every pastor, Bible teacher, and Christian will benefit from. We've needed this commentary for a long, long time!”

"As the famous pastor R.G. Lee used to joke, 'Sermonettes produce Christianettes who smoke cigarettes.' Saddleback pastors regularly teach for 50 minutes or more. But you’d better have something to say! Like the oil drillers say, 'If you don’t hit oil after 30 minutes, stop boring!'" - Rick Warren

"I have given you an example to follow. Do as I have done to you." - John 13:15 (NLT)

"We are not called to use time as maniac managers, but to steward it as watchful, temporary servants." - Mark Labberton, Leadership magazine (Summer 2006)

"It is time for Christians to face up to our responsibility for holiness. Too often we say we are 'defeated' by this or that sin. No, we are not defeated; we are simply disobedient! It might be well if we stopped using the terms 'victory' and 'defeat' to describe our progress in holiness. Rather we should use the terms 'obedience' and 'disobedience.'" - Jerry Bridges, The Pursuit of Holiness

"Perhaps the only thing worse than losing volunteers is when a volunteer in your ministry unplugs from his or her relationship with God and stays involved in your ministry."  - Bill Allison, Recruiting, Motivating & Retaining Volunteers in the Church

The percentage of high school seniors who do not date rose 14 percent from 1991 to 2004. According to the 2004 study, 27 percent of high school seniors do not date. - Source: www.childtrends.org

"Jesus comes not so that we might have 'my so called life,' as the hit baby buster television show put it. Nor did Jesus come that we might have a 'so-so,' bland mediocre life, or an artificial life. Jesus came to show us the way to a healthy, hyper-real, Spirit-filled, life-plus life. The Word made flesh to the full came to make all flesh full of the Word." - Leonard Sweet, The Jesus Prescription for a Healthy Life
